Custom Woolen Mills is proud to source our wool directly from farmers in Western Canada. Canadian wool is notably different from other wool; our sheep live in extreme temperatures resulting in loftier and often higher-quality fibre.
Our yarn for knitting sweaters, socks and other accessories is spun from minimally processed wool using historic turn-of-the-century equipment. Learn more about the Canadian wool we use and how it is grown and processed in our blog!

Our wool is not superwashed, preserving its natural characteristics and ensuring it's ideal for wool embroidery, felting, knitting and crocheting projects. We also offer eco-friendly, naturally dyed options.
