Description
The Original Wool Socks are made of 100% wool, giving them the best of wool's warmth and moisture wicking characteristics.
When choosing socks, the Original Wool Socks are the warmest, the Softest White Wool Mohair Socks are the softest, and the Hard Workin' Wool/Nylon Socks are the most durable.
Our sock sizes correspond to men's shoe sizes or are slightly smaller. If you like your socks loose, you may want to pick the next size up. Most men tend to fit into sizes 10-12 or 13-15. Most women tend to fit into sizes 4-6 or 7-9. If your foot size is right on the border of a size range, we would recommend getting the next size up - this makes them a bit more forgiving when it comes to washing. Unstretched/blocked, size 4-6 has an 8" foot length, Size 7-9 has a 9" foot length, size 10-12 has a 10" foot length, size 13-15 has an 11" foot length.
Proper fitting shoes have a huge impact on how your socks will wear. If you find you get holes in your socks quickly, you'll want to assess how your shoes fit. In the mean time, we have a handy tutorial on how to darn socks.

Excellent socks. Warm enough for winter but breathe well enough to be worn in the summer. Very durable so long as you wash in cold water on delicate or wool settings and hang to dry. They are a tad rough at first, but soften after repeated washing. My only real complaint is that the occasional sock has an uncomfortable toe seem, but of the 12 socks that I own, only 2 or 3 seem to have this problem. I would highly recommend these socks to anyone looking for a great pair of Canadian-made, untreated, 100% wool socks.

Real good socks. They fit me well and stay where they belong. I wear size 11 shoe but went ahead and bought the 13-15 sock. I wash them on regular cycle (knowing they will shrink) and dry them on delicate. They fit me just snug enough to stay put, don't bind anywhere and they don't get loose as the day goes on. I bought these after realizing that my itchy ankles were being caused by sweat leaching chemicals off of artificial fibers in "regular" socks and I needed some good natural fiber socks to prove it. Proved it on the first hot day when after 12 hours of outdoor work, not one itch from a single nerve on my ankles. I came back today and bought 6 more pair as they are the only socks I like to wear now. Got a drawer full of fairly new, good quality cotton blend socks to give away....
