Hollyberry Soaps Felted Soap

Description

We are pleased to offer felted soap by local soap maker Hollyberry Soaps. Felted soap is soap covered in felted wool. The wool fibres provide an exfoliating effect gentle enough for the face but strong enough for the whole body. They also help to lather up the soap very quickly, making your soap last a lot longer. Due to wool's natural qualities, the wool will stay nice and clean and not get smelly, unlike a damp face cloth. We use felted soap at home as a gentle body scrub and also at the hand wash station here at the mill for scrubbing machine grease off the hands - it really is a wonderful all-purpose all-natural product.

When choosing socks, the Original Wool Socks are the warmest, the White Wool Mohair Socks are the softest, and the Hard Workin' Wool/Nylon Socks are the most durable.

Sizing

Our sock sizes correspond to men's shoe sizes or are slightly smaller. If you like your socks loose, you may want to pick the next size up. Most men tend to fit into sizes 10-12 or 13-15. Most women tend to fit into sizes 4-6 or 7-9. If your foot size is right on the upper border of a size range, we would recommend getting the next size up. This makes them a bit more forgiving when it comes to washing.

Sock Care

To keep your Custom Woolen Mills socks in tip-top condition, machine wash them gently and hang to dry to prevent shrinkage.

Proper fitting shoes have a huge impact on how your socks will wear. If you find you get holes in your socks quickly, you may want to assess how your shoes fit. In the meantime, we have a handy tutorial on how to darn socks.
