Description

Simple, portable, and beautifully hand-crafted, these Nostepinne are an excellent addition to any fibre artists tool kit.

Each Nostepinne is hand made by local sheep-shearer Dave Carlson. They feature a ridged grip for ease and comfort, and a groove at the bottom for holding the end of your yarn in place.

Due to their hand-made nature, each will vary from the one shown.

Approximate dimensions: 5inches/13cm Long   ;  1 - 1 1/4 inch / 2.5cm- 3cm diameter.

Sizing

Our sock sizes correspond to men's shoe sizes or are slightly smaller. If you like your socks loose, you may want to pick the next size up. Most men tend to fit into sizes 10-12 or 13-15. Most women tend to fit into sizes 4-6 or 7-9. If your foot size is right on the upper border of a size range, we would recommend getting the next size up. This makes them a bit more forgiving when it comes to washing.

Sock Care

To keep your Custom Woolen Mills socks in tip-top condition, machine wash them gently and hang to dry to prevent shrinkage.

Proper fitting shoes have a huge impact on how your socks will wear. If you find you get holes in your socks quickly, you may want to assess how your shoes fit. In the meantime, we have a handy tutorial on how to darn socks.
