We are pleased to offer the Meatag & Mutan Pattern by Kalea Turner-Beckman. This pattern is for celtic cable mittens and a fingerless alternative. They have a beautiful cabled back hand with a straight stitch palm. The mittens knit up beautifully in any of our Mule Spinner 1-Ply yarns knit on 2mm and 2.75mm needles. They require one 4 oz skein of yarn.

Kalea Turner-Beckman is a knitter, natural dyer, and hand spinner, living on Treaty 6 Territory in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She sources breed specific wools and dye plants from as close to her home as possible, as a way to connect with her local land base. She was a founding member of the Alberta Yarn Project.
